For our project Across The Bo(a)rders in Balti/ Moldova we are looking for a volunteer on short notice from the end of September until the end of October.
Our mission:
To establish a workshop program together with Moldovan volunteers for kids who fled from Ukraine and local kids from Balti. For this purpose, we will send a fully equipped "skate container" including boards, safety gear and ramps to Balti, which will arrive at the end of September.an.
Your tasks:
- Conduct educational skateboarding workshops.
- Coaching of local volunteers according to the skate-aid principle
- You will stay on site for 4-5 weeks and if you like, you can stay longer.
- You will work together with our project managers Gabriel and Henning directly on site. They will accompany and support you during the first week.
The following requirements must be met:
- Age of majority and a clean criminal record
- Skateboarder with enough experience to show kids the basics and to conduct skateboard workshops
- Ideally language skills in Russian and/or Ukrainian to be able to communicate with the kids and responsible persons on site.
Services provided by skate-aid
- You get a small expense allowance
- We provide accommodation
- The return journey to Balti will be covered
