skate-aid Westerwald e.V.

About us

skate-aid Westerwald e.V. stands for more than just skateboarding - we create prospects, offer support and promote the self-development of young people. We put our heart and passion into helping children and young people, teaching values such as fairness, team spirit and initiative. Our goal: to give them a sense of freedom, community and self-confidence through skateboarding.

Our mission

Skateboarding changes lives! At skate-aid Westerwald, we believe that skateboarding is a universal language that connects. With our projects and workshops, we create a safe space where children and young people can come together, learn and grow, regardless of their background or social environment. We stand for diversity, tolerance and mutual respect - because that's what our community is all about.

Our projects

From weekly workshops in Hachenburg and Bad Marienberg to vacation activities and active participation in the design of skate parks - we are always at the start! With our mobile miniramp, we bring the skateboarding experience directly to the kids and promote not only sporting but also creative skills with creative activities such as sock prints at Christmas markets. Our latest project: the restoration of a donated miniramp, which will be inaugurated in 2025 - with lots of support from the region.
