On February 2, 2026, a press conference was held at Markus Pust's barbershop (“Väter & Söhne”) to announce the process of founding skate-aid Beckum. In addition to the founding members and the patron and mayor of Beckum, Michael Gerdhenrich, several sponsors, teachers from schools in Beckum and Neubeckum, as well as representatives of the city and the local press were also in attendance. Markus Pust explained how the idea for skate-aid e.V. in Beckum came about, how the initial discussions with Titus went, and what is planned for the future in the Warendorf region. In this regard, workshops are planned at various types of schools, from elementary schools and special schools to high schools. A series of workshops at a local children's home is also planned. A special highlight of the project will be the revitalization of the disused train station in Neubeckum, where the obstacles from our Skatepark-in-a-Box container will be put to use, workshops will be established, and there will certainly be some skate sessions.
