19th skate-aid night 2025 supported by Provinzial
Burning hearts at the 19th edition of the charity gala in aid of skate-aid. Münster's traditional charity gala achieves great results for a good cause.
“Celebrate and support” is the motto when skate-aid invites guests to skate-aid night supported by Provinzial in the festively decorated Skaters Palace in Münster. Around 250 invited guests from all over Germany responded to the call for the event, which had been sold out for months, including many prominent “skate-aid friends” such as musician Thomas D from Die Fantastischen Vier, the band Fury in the Slaughterhouse, reality TV dream couple Leyla & Mike Heiter, comedians Lisa Feller and Simon Gosejohann, presenter Mara Bergmann, actor Sönke Möhring, artists Tizlu and Michel Friess and many other familiar faces.
Mayor Tilmann Fuchs gave the welcoming speech.
TV presenter Mara Bergmann then charmingly and humorously guided the audience through an entertaining and rousing evening. She also provided insights into the work and global projects of skate-aid, which empowers children through the educational power of skateboarding. On stage, the skate-aid team explained to guests, among other things, their work with children in free workshops and how the participating kids are empowered through self-directed learning in the skate-aid workshops.
Plans are also already underway to expand the skate-aid skate park project in Nepal in 2026.
The thrilling and spectacular GOP Diabolo acrobatic act by Ezra Veldman, acoustic songs by “Fury in the Slaughterhouse,” exquisite culinary delights and, of course, the success stories from the skate-aid projects put the guests in the best (donating) mood.
At the end of the evening, around €100,000 had been raised for charity! This will enable skate-aid's global projects to continue moving forward!
This also impressed founder Titus Dittmann: “Our mission inspires people and we are delighted about the appreciation and support for our work – so many passionate hearts for skate-aid! We empower kids.”
