skate-aid night Münster 2015
The 10th skate-aid-night in Münster
Youth culture meets tradition
A lot of celebrities walked down the red carpet on November, 28 at the Skaters Palace. The occasion was the 10th anniversary of the skate-aid-night in Münster. In-between skateboard ramps and graffiti, crystal glass and candle light the motto was traditionally “celebrating and encouraging”. This year, the goal of initiator Titus Dittmann’s organization was to collect donations especially for skate-aid refugee projects in Germany. 250 guests and numerous celebrities, like famous chef Tim Mälzer, celebrated in this unique location and collected more than 37.000€ for skate-aid projects. Because of the 10th anniversary, there was a big reunion with the presenters of past skate-aid-nights. Wotan Wilke Möhring and Helge Schneider provided huge “money can’t buy” packages, consisting of a VIP visit at a Dortmund football game together with Wotan and a meet and greet with Helge at one of his shows during the “Lass knacken, Oppa”-Tour. Another special price, an exclusive weekend in Amsterdam including a BMW i8, was provided by BMW Hakvoort and encountered a lot of interest.
Finally, the beats of DJ AT aka Atwashere invited everyone to a relaxed after show get-together at the Palace Café. Guests, celebrities and supporters clinked glasses to a successful evening and were full of anticipation for the 11th skate-aid-night at the Skaters Palace. The host of the 10th skate-aid-night, Titus Dittmann, is proud of the outcome of this charity night:
“It was a very emotional evening. I’m especially happy that all the guests were excited and to see so many burning hearts for our cause. It’s all set for 2016!”
